Your role at Clorox: The Sr. Quality Manager for Atlanta Main Plant drives a culture of quality for the plant team through leadership of Quality Control, Laboratory and Compliance, as well as maintaining integrated quality management systems. In this position, the Sr. Quality Manager will manage Internal Manufacturer release, internal auditing program, assist with Annual Product Review and Quality Management Review, electronic quality management systems and the analysis/review of the data that stems from each of these programs, as necessary. To make this opportunity a success you must thrive on driving change in a fast-paced environment! This leadership role will require the implementation of new quality systems, SOP program, environmental monitoring program, and document control. To be successful, the Sr. Quality Manager must be able to lead at all levels of the organization. They must be able to lead and teach tactically as well as write programs and influence the broader plant. In this role, you will: 1. People Development – Provides leadership and development to develop a culture of Quality at Altanta Main. Works cross-functionally within the plant to develop an organization of diverse and high performing enthusiastic owners that have the skills and capabilities to drive growth while ensuring compliance. 25% 2. Supply Chain Operations Support and Regulatory Compliance - Will develop, implement, manage, provide guidance and oversight to all key QMS operational processes. Continually perform quality systems gap analysis of operational sub-processes to ensure ongoing health of our Quality Management System and report issues to Senior Management. Serve as the key point of contact for 3rd party and Regulatory inspections and audits of the corporate QMS. 25% 3. Strategic Leadership – Provides strategic leadership and functional vision to help develop the quality journey milestones. This role identifies key leverage points within organization to drive quality improvements. Lead processes to improve product design and supply quality, by establishing credibility with business management team. 25% 4. Drive Continuous Improvement - Proactively identifying and leading improvement projects to drive improved capability, eliminate waste, and increase team performance. Helps identify, develop, and implement process and system improvements. Advances the functions technical knowledge and links with experts within the field. Develop and utilize meaningful metrics to monitor and manage the performance of the Quality System. 25% Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Skilled in risk assessment, root cause analysis, and complaint and CAPA system execution. Strong written communication skills and technical writing, including the demonstrated ability to write clear, concise reports and business correspondence. Ability to develop, author, and train on Standard Operating Procedures. Exceptional project and time management skills enabling the candidate to multi-task several initiatives simultaneously while adhering to aggressive timelines. Proficient computer skills (MS Windows, MS Office applications), database management, Adobe Acrobat Professional, SharePoint, SAP, and Minitab. The ability to identify and close gaps in our internal processes and prepare a plan to close those gaps in internal processes and procedures. Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage and respond to a variety of situations in a friendly, timely and collaborative manner. Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail. Highly flexible and adaptable. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast paced multitasking environment Knowledge of GMP’s and EPA regulations. What we look for: 8 years related experience in plant operations and quality management with foods, supplements, or similar level of regulation (Quality Manager experience in operations environment); will draw on this experience to bring best practices to our plant Experience with having people reporting to you Must be familiar with different quality systems and global regulations (i.e. FDA/GMP, 21 CFR Parts 700/701 and 210/211, ICH guidance, HACCP etc.)…. Working knowledge of quality systems and EPA regulatory requirements. Strong leadership & Influence skills – Ability to set direction and drive results Strong people management, coaching, and development skills Critical reasoning skills and demonstrated ability to assess impact of planned and unplanned changes on product quality Strong interpersonal skills – a proven team player who contributes to a results focused and motivating team environment Highly Flexible and Adaptable. Able to work independently in a fast paced multitasking environment.
